2024 Diversity Scholarship Winner

The Ohio Chapter of the Appraisal Institute's Scholarship Committee has announced that the 2024 Diversity Scholarship has been awarded to Carlos McDaniel.

Carlos McDaniel, Scholarship Recipient

Short Bio:

Carlos J. McDaniel is a Certified General Appraiser with over 20 years of experience in real property valuation. He has served as staff review appraiser and board of revision hearing officer in Cuyahoga County. In addition, since 2006, Carlos has operated as an independent fee appraiser. The varied experiences he has gathered in property valuation include, but are not limited to, commercial county reassessment, expert witness testimony, multi-family, office, leasehold and leased fee, horse and luxury/waterfront properties.

Carlos holds a BBA, in Finance and Real Estate, from the University of Cincinnati. He lives in Cleveland, OH and is a devoted father of one daughter. Carlos is an avid golfer and music enthusiast (jazz in particular).
